Watching Germany

Sitting in Dresden watching no mexicans to clean up the food joints was an uneasier experience than I originally remembered it.

The level of homeowrk here is mind blowing. There is an openess in Europe that is hard to describe. Even in a place that is hung over from the cold war it is clear that they know how to take their time. Life has an breeze right through the middle of it. Wandering is encouraged.

People are in love with their bikes here. There are almost seperate bikewas that go every where in Dresden. It is the only way to travel!

Tamaasha!

I guess everyone and their daddy amd mummy and billoo apa and all want ot help out in Pakistan. Indeed it's a tragedy. Indeed there is much help needed.
I am not sure I know of ONE Pakistani in the US who has given generously without the slightest doubt that the money will make it to the needy. Yet, we give clean hearts and great hope that the rings we toss are going to save those drowning.......alas....it could become mantle decoration piece in some general's living room.
Indeed such is the nature of corruption. Much like the polution in the air, it makes things a little hazy, a little thick and a little unbearable yet not sufficiently annoying for one tostep up and say " You know, that's it....I have had enough. Today, I shall plan a Revolt!"

Corporate Monkeys!

I am finally convinced that all that machiavellian stuff actually works in the work space. Lying, deceipt, trickery etc. which all seem so 19th century are alive and well in corporate America. Whoop-dee-doo you say? I guess I have been living the delusion that people are actually bright enoug to see all of that. Aparently, unpredictability is the key to power. Be jumpy and thou shall have all the respect. In fact, if you can show everyone that you acquire all your daily iron needs by eating paper clips you're already half way to being president.
I shall continue to champion the cause of the corporate Monkey and this BLOG from this day onwards is dedicated to every mosquito on the corporate jugular making Bank.
The Rating System:
1) Gorilla
I respect thee, o' great corporate monkey.

Steeee-Rike!

All my friends and horses are simply depressed and can't seem to mobilize a coherent thought beyond trying to find the escape goat....was it Gavin Newsom.....was it the damn gay people....was it Chris t himself who was responsible for what awaits the destiny of people in Falluja??
Big Daddy W wants to teach a lesson and we got a bomb for every mosquito. I guess it works for the short term but the collective memory is a bit longer than that! I guess that's why the people of the Shah revolution never forgot.
I sit on the fence...watching with joy - because some of these folks (of the militant persuasion) need a lesson....others, however, just needed a job!!

Pre-election Connundrums

It's hard to see know if you're barking up the wrong tree when you sit in the wrong jungle and know wants to talk or hear about it.

From where I sit, I can see this being the single most significant event coming up in a couple of days. This is not because I am now and watching any closer but because the choices are being colored by incredibly complex and well "designed" set of lenses. The American people have evolved to the point where when they are given choice with more than 2 tiers of complexity and they become completely comfortable with contradicting themselves.

I thought I take this turning point in history to begin my memoirs for my son to some day review and perhaps understand where it all began. He was after all born in the Bush Years!
